“I set examples, and if it inspires you, great, I will continue to do that, if it doesn’t, then maybe I’m not the person that you should be following.” -Michael Jordan

We know what we want…and we don’t settle.-Deion Sanders

The E.A.R.N. Lab seeks to attract highly qualified research assistants who seek to (a) acquire strong research skills, and (b) develop scholastic strength, endurance, and conditioning. To ensure that we are selecting the candidates who best fit the lab’s scholastic bar and work ethos, we have developed a training model that will prepare you for the rigors of a Ph.D. program in psychology or related field. We seek candidates with a strong academic record and a demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and development. Candidates should possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication, collaboration skills, and strong work ethos.

We also value scholastic endurance, and seek candidates who have the ability to maintain focus and productivity over extended periods of time. Candidates with stress management skills and experience in research or related fields are preferred. Overall, we aim to create a supportive, productive, and intellectually stimulating lab environment. We encourage readers who meet our work standards to apply and join us in fulfilling our lab’s mission and values.

We believe that our rigorous training model provides an excellent opportunity for highly motivated and talented individuals to contribute to the advancement of psychological research. We invite those who are passionate about learning and growth, and who share our commitment to excellence, to apply and join us in our pursuit of knowledge and discovery. Together, we can build a lab team culture that is both challenging and supportive, and that promotes the development of valuable skills and experiences that will prepare you for the rigors or a Ph.D. program in psychology or related field.
